Prof. Dr. Sérgio Evangelista Silva

Professor and researcher in UFOP’s Production Engineering Department, Sérgio Evangelista Silva works in the Production Management research line and develops studies on Industry 4.0 technologies. In the program, he brings an applied perspective on digital production management, smart factories, and data-driven business strategies, connecting Business Intelligence, organizational knowledge, and competitive intelligence. His work helps students understand how data, automation, and management come together in the transformation of productive systems.
