Prof. Dr. Paganini Barcellos

UFOP professor and researcher, he holds a PhD in Production Engineering from UFMG and develops work on exact and heuristic algorithms for large-scale problems. His expertise in Operations Research and Optimization contributes directly to Data Science applied to Industry 4.0, especially in decision-making, operational efficiency, and complex production systems. He also works on topics such as game theory and quantitative modeling, expanding the interface between data analysis and decision support.
