UFOP professor and researcher, Janniele Soares holds a PhD in Computer Science and works in Optimization and Computational Intelligence. A Data Science specialist, she has extensive experience in data mining and in exploratory and descriptive, predictive, and especially prescriptive analytics applied to complex problem-solving and data-driven decision-making. She completed part of her doctoral research at CIRRELT in Canada, a center of excellence in logistics, transportation, and analytics. She also worked in industry as an IT coordinator and supervises applied projects aligned with market demands and technological innovation.
